I recently heard great news from an excited client named Donna Weckerly:
She was the recipient of 6 awards for her website itself, related social media campaigns, and several other steps she took to help members of her Local Union stay abreast and informed of what's going on with working Americans.
Donna had come to me as a client over a year ago to re-design her local union's website. We set it up so she could use it as a primary communications portal for her members and to also share secure newsletters with members only, an extensive photo gallery, and much more.
I also did a little bit of basic "webmaster coaching" with her on the phone and via email to get her up to speed on a few simple things like working with WordPress, images, etc.
That all being said I just want to make clear that I'm not trying to steal one ounce of her credit! Donna worked hard to make the website "award winning" and all we did here at ProFromGo was give her a channel or an outlet to deliver that information to her audience.
When we first started working together Donna had a lot of questions about WordPress and how to get going. After just a few short months she was darn near an expert on WordPress and you'd think that the site was being run by a full time IT department!
I just wanted to say congratulations to Donna and the UAW Local 3303 for kicking butt at the 2011 UAW-Local Union Press Association (LUPA) Communications Conference and winning all those awards.

Congratulations Donna and UAW Local 3303!
